Can we rent several gîtes simultaneously to accommodate a group or several families?
NO. Our largest house can accommodate up to 4 people, not more. Even if you are divided into several lodgings for sleeping, you will certainly want to share moments together around the dining table or the living room. Equipment, dishes, furniture will not allow this. We count on our guests to respect the maximum capacity provided for each accomodation and not to move dishes and furniture from one accomodation to another. In the village and surroundings, you will find lodgings designed to accommodate up to 15 people.
but YES if ... you want everyone to keep their independence and plan to take your meals outside. For example, 2 couples may wish to each rent an apartment at La Maison Matelot and have lunch / dinner at the restaurant.
Restaurants to recommend?
YES. Depending on your wishes, we will share our favorite addresses on your arrival or before your stay: restaurants, brasseries, oyster shack, beach bar, brunch, coffee shop and tea rooms ...
Can one of your lodgings accommodate people with reduced mobility?
NO sorry, because all are located in old fishermen's houses with internal and sometimes external staircases. In the old port district, the alleys are sloping with narrow sidewalks and paved pavement.
However at La Maison Matelot the apartment on the Ground Floor "Le Matelot à carreaux" may be suitable for those who want accommodation without stairs if only they can climb a step (access to the house) and use the antique bathtub (quite high, with handle)
Check-in time?
Starting from 5pm (17h). We invite you to specify your arrival time when booking or the days before your arrival. Late or night arrival is possible with a secure key and code box system. This means you need to inform us in advance
Check-out : What should I do when I leave?
Check-out is scheduled at 10 a.m. maximum (until noon at La Maison Matelot, L'Esprit du Port and Poisson Nomade), unless otherwise arrangement. Notify us of your check-out time, we will come to greet you on the spot or indicate the key box.
End of stay cleaning is a service included. When you leave, the house or the apartment must be tidy, clean and tidy dishes, empty dishwasher, empty fridge, sorted and collected garbage cans. Otherwise, you may be charged and this is not the deal ;-) We take care of the household and household linen. Any object broken by you is due and must be reported
Do you offer extra beds?
NO. For the sake of your comfort and space. We offer apartments and houses for 1 to 4 people with beds in bedrooms.
Do you offer gourmet and grocery baskets?
YES on order in advance. For your late arrivals or without stress, we offer delivery of 1 or more products from: Seafood platter or locally smoked fish, selection of norman duck or pork paté, jams, chocolates, ice creams, baker's bread ... As well as a selection of quality cellars: natural wines, remarkable ciders, local organic beers, artisanal juices, teas and infusions from the range of our boutique-cellar. If you wish, the table will be set up in your accomodation before your arrival. The supermarket can offer delivery or grocery shopping. Also fresh flowers, birthday cakes, Chef at home ... contact us in advance!
